PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pneumatic tire capable of establishing compatibly enhancement of the heat radiating performance and suppression of the generation of a poor manufacturing workmanship such as bares. SOLUTION: The pneumatic tire 1 to be fixed to a rim is structured so that a first ridge having projections and recesses repetitively in the tire circumferential direction is provided at least in one part of the side bottom part 30 from the outer end position mating with the outer end in the tire radial direction of a flange part of the rim 7 to the tire maximum width position.
