PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inkjet recording device which permits aquisition of good recording quality without causing bleeding or white streaks and prevents the characteristic degradation of a recording head and exhibits reliability even when the number of scans of multipass is reduced and fast recording is performed. SOLUTION: The inkjet recording device uses two sets of recording heads arranged in a manner that makes recording element arrays to be symmetrical in a main scanning direction. A recording ratio setting area in the recording element array direction is divided in two or more, different recording ratios are set for the divided areas, recording is performed in different recording ratio distributions by a first recording head and a second recording head.
