PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve washing performance by generating microbubbles through a microbubble generation nozzle. SOLUTION: A detergent water solution stored in a washing tub 1 is introduced to the microbubble generation nozzle 2 through a water inlet passage 3 to generate microbubbles, so that creamy microbubbles (detergent bubbles) are generated. Water including the detergent bubbles thus generated and microbubbles (microbubble mixed water) is supplied into the washing tub 1 through a water outlet passage 4, and used for washing. Washing with the detergent bubbles having a diameter considerably small relative to that of a conventional one and increased in detergent component relative to the volume of bubbles, makes the more detergent component penetrate into the laundry, so that washing performance is improved.
