PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a plant pot given by attaching an bottom plate into which a powder of a tourmaline ore is mixed to a bottomless plant pot of a various kinds of materials and therefore capable of utilizing characteristics of the tourmaline. SOLUTION: In this plant pot, an unglazed pot, a decorative pot, a metal pot, a synthetic resin pot, or the like, is prepared as the bottomless plant pot, and the bottom plate is newly attached to a bottom part of the bottomless pot. A bottom plate having a small hole is used as the bottom plate for a plant which scarcely needs water and, on the other hand, a bottom plate not having the hole in its center is used for a plant which frequently needs water. The bottom plate is made of a synthetic resin containing the tourmaline, wherein the powder of the tourmaline ore is mixed into the synthetic resin and then the resin is molded into the bottom plate by an injection molding machine. Thus, the plant pot utilizing characteristics of the tourmaline is obtained by combining the bottomless pot and the bottom plate containing the tourmaline. COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
