PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rod point cover enabling a fish line to be engaged with a leading bar for passing the fishline without requiring a flashlight and skill at a dark fishing spot at evening, midnight, early morning or the like, and enabling the fishline to be easily and rapidly inserted to fishline guide rings of a telescopic rod. SOLUTION: The rod point cover 1 has the rod point cover 1 in a cylindrical body 2 having a closed tip, and the leading bar 4 for passing the fishline, having one terminal (a) engaged with the tip of the cylindrical body 2 of the tip cover 1 and the other terminal extended through the space in the cylindrical body 2 from the rear end to the rear direction. A light-emitting part 3 is arranged in the tip part of the cylindrical body 2 of the rod point cover 1 having the leading bar 4 for passing the fishline, and the leading bar 4 for passing the fishline is formed out of an optical fiber. The tip 4a of the leading bar 4 for passing the fishline, composed of the optical fiber is connected to the light-emitting part 3 so that the light emitted from the light-emitting part 3 may illuminate not only the surface layer part 3a of the tip of the light-emitting part 3 but also even the rear end 4b of the leading rod 4 for passing the fishline by emission through the leading bar 4 for passing the fishline made of the optical fiber extending from the rear end of the light-emitting part 3 to the rear part.
