PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a flexible printed circuit board, FC tape, and TAB tape having outstanding properties of low thermal expansivity, low water absorption, and low moisture absorption expansivity etc. SOLUTION: The flexible printed circuit board, FC tape, and TAB tape include a base film with which more than one conditions are satisfied; the moisture absorption expansion coeffcient is 15 ppm or less; the thermal expansion coefficient is 1.0×10<SP>-5</SP>/°C or more and 2.5×10<SP>-5</SP>/°C or less; water absorption is 1.6% or less.
