DRY GRANULATED SUBSTANCE AND PROCESS FOR PRODUCING THE SAME

Dry granulation of a mixed powder with high drug content has been accompanied by in the event of poor fluidity of medicinal agent, failure to appropriately feed powder to a machine for compression molding, and accompanied by in the event of extremely poor compression moldability of medicinal agent, difficulty in obtaining a molded form. There is provided a process comprising adding to an ingredient with medicinal effect (1) light anhydrous silicic acid and (2) a low-melting-point substance being solid at ordinary temperature and carrying out dry granulation of the mixture. By virtue of the process, excellent fluidity can be ensured without being influenced by the properties of drug, and after dry granulation, there can be obtained a dry granulated substance maintaining high compression moldability and, through tableting of the dry granulated substance, a tablet.
