<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To favorably perform gear shift operation when a vehicle starts. <P>SOLUTION: This gear shift controller of a motorcycle provided with a clutch and a transmission driven by an actuator determines whether a gear shift command for the transmission is given during connection of the clutch by start control or not. When it is determined that shift-up command is given during connection of the clutch, any of control of (1) the clutch is once disconnected by a gear shift control program 200U to let the transmission perform gear shift operation corresponding to the shift-up command and connect the clutch again by a start control program 204 (arrow marks 212, 216, and 214) and (2) the clutch is once disconnected by a gear shift control program 206U to let the transmission perform gear shift operation corresponding to the shift-up command and connect the clutch again by control different from predetermined start control (arrow mark 240) is performed in accordance with a condition of the motorcycle. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
