PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display panel capable of reducing the size of a non-display region. SOLUTION: Among an almost square region set in the middle part of a space S1 between a front glass substrate and a rear glass substrate 10, the part at least excluding a prescribed region E12a out of four corner parts of the square region is set as a display region E11. The prescribed region E12a at a corner part is set at the non-display region E12 laid between and integrated with the non-display region E11 and a sealing layer 11.
