PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical disk processing device which can stabilize the gain adjustment of the servo control to make the focused light spot follow the recording track of the disk. SOLUTION: The servo gain control 19 has a disturbance signal input 71 which generates various kinds of disturbance signals having different frequencies to input sequentially to the servo loop system, a gain characteristic measuring section 72 to measure the changes in the gain characteristics of the servo loop system by using the signals looped back through the servo loop system, a gain characteristic averaging section 73 to calculate the average of the changes in the servo gain characteristics measured by the gain characteristic measuring section 72 corresponding to the various kinds of disturbance signals inputted from the disturbance signal input 71, and a gain adjusted quantity deciding section 74 to decide the adjusted quantity of the servo gain of the servo loop system based on an average of deviation in the servo gain characteristics as measured by the gain characteristic average calculating section 73.
