PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a two-part type obi for Japanese Kimono comprising a waist wrapping obi body and a drum part tying obi body, designed so as to easily wear the obi via a tying string to stabilize the tied obi form. SOLUTION: The two-part type obi for Japanese Kimono is used as follows: longitudinally folding back the waist wrapping obi body in a half-breadth folded-back state; superimposing the inner waist side and the outer waist side while leaving their edge parts to prepare the breadth and length for wrapping the waist part; attaching the tying string to the deckle edge parts and the folded-back part of the obi body and the end part at the outer waist side; and attaching a tying string-passing loop to the selvage edges of the inner waist side of the obi body.
