PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an abnormality detecting device capable of detecting an abnormality of a suspension device, even during traveling of a vehicle. SOLUTION: This abnormality detecting device G detects the abnormality of the suspension device S interposed between sprung member B and unsprung member W of the vehicle. The device G is provided with an estimation means 10 for estimating one or more of at least sprung displacement, sprung speed or sprung acceleration from unsprung acceleration Wα, and a comparison means 11 for comparing an estimated value of the estimation means 10 with an actually measured value.
