PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a knife edge replaceable drill excellent in workability of a drill head and hard to lower a life span of a main body. SOLUTION: This knife edge replaceable drill is devised so that a guide surface 9 guides a drill head 3 to relatively rotate by inserting it between clamping pieces 7 to an installing position by forming a pair of the clamping pieces 7 having the main body 2 and the drill head 3 to mount on the main body 2 free to connect and disconnect and to clamp a rear part of the drill head 3 on a head end of the main body 2 and forming a torque transmission surface 8 to receive rotating torque in the cutting direction by making contact with the clamping pieces 7 face to face at the installing position and the outward guide surface 9 extending forward in the drill rotating direction from an outer end 8a of the torque transmission surface 8 in correspondence with each of the clamping pieces 7 on a rear part of the drill head 3.
