<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a linear or rotary driver for facilitating a low-speed drive. <P>SOLUTION: An application voltage is a pulse voltage having a waveform shown in Fig. A transmission member and a moving object are moved and held by a static friction force for a fixed time t1 after a start C1 of a decrease in the application voltage. The transmission member is slipped relative to the moving object after the fixed time t1. A movement of the moving object to a fixing member occurs only when a decrease progression of the application voltage is in a c step. The invention can reduce the movement of the moving object per pulse of the application voltage without reducing the maximum of the application voltage, and easily drives the driver at a low speed. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
