<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid injection method for injecting a liquid held inside a capillary by heating the liquid without spraying hot air from the outside on the capillary to make use of the thermally expansive pressure of the liquid. <P>SOLUTION: The method comprises the following procedure: The inside of a capillary with a liquid ejection port on one end is held with a 1st liquid layer and a 2nd liquid layer containing a laser beam absorber so that the 1st liquid layer be located at the liquid injection port side to form a portion to seal up the 2nd liquid layer inside the capillary. The 2nd liquid layer is then irradiated with laser beams to eject the liquid of the 1st liquid layer via the liquid ejection port. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
