PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a camera capable of simultaneously and excellently confirming the entire photographing image and the focus state of the photographing image, etc., at the time of photographing or before and after photographing, and a photographing method. SOLUTION: A digital camera 100 having a plurality of display means for respectively independently displaying a common object, for which a display area is respectively independently constituted, comprises: a first display means 1 which is one of the plurality of display means; and a second display means 2 which the other one of the plurality of display means for displaying the object by a magnification or a display range at least different from the display state of the first display means 1.
