PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technology of supporting a film type optical low pass filter without distortion even in a change due to temperature and humidity at all times. SOLUTION: An LPF support mechanism is provided, which fixes one end of the film type optical low pass filter to a revolvable rotary shaft, detects ambient temperature and humidity, the torque and rotation angle of the rotary shaft, calculates a result of the detection and uses a motor to apply drive control to the rotary shaft so as to provide an optimum tension to the film type optical low pass filter.
