PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a flash device capable of adjusting the color temperature of flash light emitted from a light source without spoiling the outside appearance of a camera, and the camera equipped with the flash device. SOLUTION: The flash device 20 for the camera 1 is equipped with a light emitting part 21 for radiating the flash light emitted from the light source 21a in a fixed direction, a reflection mirror 22 for changing the irradiating direction of the flash light radiated from the light emitting part to a predetermined direction, and a transparent body 23 provided at a boundary part between the inside and the outside of the device and transmitting the flash light reflected by the reflection mirror toward the outside of the device, and is equipped with a color temperature adjusting part 24 adjusting the color temperature of the flash light for a time required until the flash light reaches the transparent body after it is emitted from the light source.
