PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a combined material maintaining its design of a base material under application of an external force. SOLUTION: The combined material has a base material and a coated part on the base material in which the coated part is a combined material composed of (A) silica or an average composition formula of RpSiO(4-p)/2, wherein R presents an organic group, X represents at least one of an alkoxy group, a halogen atom or a nitrogen containing group and 0
