PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a nickel particle in which impurities on the surface are removed, thus the surface is smooth, and which has high tap density. SOLUTION: The surface treatment method for a nickel particle using an acid solution comprises: a stage (1) where weak acid and a buffer solution are mixed to produce an acid solution whose pH is 2 to 5; a stage (2) where the acid solution and a nickel particle are mixed; and a stage (3) where the mixed solution is filtered, cleaned and dried.
