Method and device for a combined signal evaluation of a rain sensor and a camera

The method involves automatically controlling signals of each rain sensor (2), and analyzing signals of each camera for a driver assisting system. The signals are functionally coupled so that signals of the sensor additionally support and improve the functions of the camera. Signals of the camera are stored as images and analyzed in one signal processing device and utilized as an additional signal for the control of a windshield wiper. An independent claim is also included for a device that comprises of a rain sensor and a camera.
