The biguanide drug-containing jelly preparation of the invention is characterized by comprising a biguanide drug, an inorganic acid, and a water-soluble polymer. The jelly preparation of the invention is excellent in both stability and ability for releasing a drug, which are usually incompatible characters, particularly by the action of the inorganic acid.
