<p>The assembly (1) to finish a paper web (2) has at least one nip (3), where the web passes between a heated rotating roller surface (26) and the mantle (27) of a shoe roller. The heated roller surface is at a temperature of at least 120[deg]C. Both rollers rotate in the direction (9) of web travel. A box (10) is in the web path, after the nip, defining a zone (11) in a length of 0.3-3.0 m as a passage for the web with one box wall (16) over the web heated to a temperature of at least 100[deg]C. Fresh air is blown (19) into the box, with a sensor (17) to register the relative humidity within the box zone.</p> |
