The invention relates to an isolated monoclonal antibody, or an antigen-binding antibody fragment, that preferentially binds cell-associated CA 125/0772P polypeptide relative to shed CA 125/0772P polypeptide. The antibody binds the repeat polypeptide region comprising the amino acid sequence depicted in SEQ ID NO:1. The invention further relates to hybridoma that produces the antibody, to a pharmaceutical composition, a method for the promotion of the recognition of antibody, and to use of the antibody for the preparation of medicament for the treatment of a CA 125/0772P-related disorder. |
