Composition (A) comprises a readymade preparation (I) of gemcitabine in an aqueous solution in a glass container, where the ratio (expressed in cm2>/cm3)> of the container surface area wetted by (A) to the volume of the composition contained in the container is less than 3.4, or the ratio of the total container surface area to the total (brim-full) volume of the container is smaller than 4.6; and (I) is reconstituted from solid material before administering to the patients. ACTIVITY : Cytostatic; Virucide; Immunosuppressive. MECHANISM OF ACTION : None given.
