The method for the manufacture of a pipe compression joint on a connector for the connection of pipes, hoses and suchlike to fixed components in vehicles entails inserting the pipe (13) into the opening of a muff (7) with a radial clearance and then pushing in an expansion mandrel into the inside diameter of the pipe which deforms the pipe radially outwards in the direction of an inner lying guide connector (17) which is similarly deformed radially outwards. - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is included for a pipe compression joint between a connector and pipe. |
