Adhesive tape for masking window flanges

Adhesive tape comprises an adhesive applied to a laminate comprising a plasticized polyvinyl chloride film bonded to a polyethylene terephthalate film with a laminating adhesive comprising a crosslinked tackifier-free acrylate ester polymer with a microshear displacement of less than 60 mu m (at 25 g/m 2> coating weight) and a delamination force of more than 3 N/cm. Independent claims are also included for: (1) window flange masked with adhesive tape as above; (2) automobile with a window flange masked with adhesive tape as above.
