Poultice pad holder and hood

A poultice pad holder and a hood which enables a veterinary poultice to be positioned over a wound on the head or neck area of a horse to facilitate healing. Preferably the poultice is inserted into a pad with a cut out area on one side and hook and loop fastening on the reverse side. The interior of the hood may be lined with a material receptive to hook and loop fastening to enable the poultice pad to be positioned over the wound and secured in place.
