<p>An apparatus for recording and displaying images of an identifying material types in a target object (3) in a fluid carrying pipe, where the apparatus comprises a downhole unit (10) provided with a light source (1) arranged to emit high energy photons (2), and that the downhole unit (10) is further provided with a sensor unit (1a) arranged to register photons (4) reflected from the target object (3). The apparatus further comprises a control and display unit (8) provided with a signal transmission means (9) and a viewing screen (8a). Further, description a method of recording and displaying images of a target object (3) through use of the apparatus, is also described.</p> |
