The invention relates to a vacuum cleaner comprising a housing (1) which surrounds a receiving chamber (2). Said chamber is accessible from the outside via an opening (7) which can be closed by a cover (3) arranged on the vacuum cleaner. An elastically pivotable actuating element (10) is formed on the cover in order to lock and/or unlock the cover (3), said element comprising at least one locking element (14) which engages with a counter locking element (15) in a closed position of the cover (3). According to the invention, the actuating element (10) is embodied as an integral component of the outer surface of the cover (3) in order to correspondingly configure the outer appearance and in order to enable the cover (3) to be opened and closed in an easier, more simple and/or ergonomical manner. |
