FIELD: manufacture of handles, holders of cooking pieces, possibly used for making knives, forks and similar objects. ^ SUBSTANCE: cooking piece with holder cover includes functional working portion and stepped holder having in last step detachable superposed cover. Functional working portion and holder are all-metal ones. Holder step adjacent to functional working portion has oval cross section. Large axis of oval is vertical; last step is in the form of parallelepiped with rounded faces and it is provided with lateral cylindrical locking members arranged in zone near first step normally relative to lateral surface of holder. Superposed cover is made of elastic material with high friction coefficient. Walls of cover along its perimeter are uniformly thickened towards free end and provided with through openings to be put onto cylindrical locking members of last step of holder. Outer cross size of front part of holder corresponds to outer cross size of first step of holder cover. Free end of cover is all-solid one and it has through cross opening and rounded back end. ^ EFFECT: improved working characteristics of cooking piece such as balancing capability, comfortable holding by user palm, wear resistance, simplified design, reduced cost. ^ 2 cl, 4 dwg |
