The switch has an operation element and an electric circuit with parallelly connected main and resistance branches (1,2) with contacts (11,21) and vacuum switches (12,22). The resistance branch has resistance (30). The contacts and the switches are rotated in same direction, with respect to operation of the element. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) method of operating diverter switch; and (2) diverter switch utilization method.
