<p>#CMT# #/CMT# The valve has a case comprising an intermediate portion (2b) that is divided by an inner wall (5) in which an opening (8) is disposed for permitting the sliding of a piston (10). The piston has a minimum contact surface (S) in contact with pressurized gas, and a maximum contact surface (S`) in contact with relaxed gas. A vent hole (21) is disposed in the portion to permit communication between atmosphere and volume under the piston. #CMT#USE : #/CMT# Used to be mounted on a gas inlet conduit connecting a gas source to a user apparatus. #CMT#ADVANTAGE : #/CMT# The maximum and minimum contact surfaces of the piston permits to deliver the relaxed gas at a determined pressure independent of pressure of gas at inlet. The minimum contact surface permits the pressurized gas to exert force, lower than that exerted by the relaxed gas, on the piston so that the variation of the supply pressure will have only one weak repercussion on the balance point of the piston. The vent hole permits communication between the atmosphere and volume under the piston, thus avoiding any increase in pressure during the movement of the piston. #CMT#DESCRIPTION OF DRAWINGS : #/CMT# The drawing shows a transversal sectional view of a gas pressure regulator valve.
