The device has cleaning containers with orifices (5) at their base for receiving parts of spouts, to be cleaned, of a filling machine. Each container is connected to a guiding unit having a housing (9) with four guide shoes. The shoes guide each container between rest and operation positions. The housing receives a part of each container in the rest position in order to cover the orifice. An independent claim is also included for a machine for filling a fluid container e.g. bottle, including a spout cleaning device.
