The equipment has straps (11, 12) comprising ends fixed on one side of a foot wrapping device. Lateral and medial buckles (13, 14) are fixed on lateral and medial side of an upper (3). The buckles receive the straps (12, 14) respectively such that an effort exerted by a lace (9) of a lacing device on strap loops is indirectly transmitted to the wrapping device by utilizing the straps and the buckles.
