A method of connecting people (A, B, C, D) in a telecommunications network includes a step (E 10 ) of creating two or more groups (G 1, G 2 ) of people as a function of their profiles. The setting up (E 20 ) of each interview includes the following steps: selecting (E 30 ) two people (A, B) belonging to the two groups, setting up (E 40 ) one or more audio and video data streams (f 1, f 2 ) between those people at a predetermined time (t 1 ), and breaking off (E 50 ) the one or more data streams after a predetermined duration (D 1 ).
