The device has a stud (6) comprising a flat nut (11) integrated with a threaded outer upper rod (10) opposite to a self-tapping threaded lower part (7). The part (7) has a countersunk hole (8) permitting to anchor the stud in a blind hole (9) of an aluminum casing (5). The rod receives a cap nut (12) that permit to clasp a part of a metallic terminal (3) of a wire (1) between the nuts when the stud is anchored in the blind hole. An independent claim is also included for a method for grounding a wire on a metallic structure.
