<p>The frame has a vertical upright (2) with upper and lower ends having a pin (8) and a sleeve (9), respectively. The frame is shifted relative to an underlying frame so that a prominent part of the sleeve is opposite to a pin of another upright. The frame is lowered to allow the sleeve to cover the latter upright`s end and pivoted relative to the underlying frame to insert the pin into an orifice (12) of the latter upright. An independent claim is also included for a support tower having several stages formed of frames that are superposed and fitted with each other.</p>
