The injector has a nozzle body (3) with an injector needle (4) controlled by a piezoelectric actuator and a valve closing unit (5) sealably supported against a valve seat (6A) when the actuator is at rest. Deviations (9) with respect to a descending vertical contour of an inner side (17) of the body, are provided to a transition (18) above a seat contact line (14) and in upstream direction, where the transition has a guide hole (27).
