PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a radio telemeter system capable of making communication between a radio slave unit and a radio master unit successful as much as possible. SOLUTION: This sub-terminal which has failed in its communication with a main terminal calculates a transmission stand-by time for putting off the transmission of a telegraphic message on the basis of the registration number of its own terminal registered in the main terminal. Even when a plurality of sub-terminals simultaneously transmit the telegraphic message to the main terminal, and the sub-terminal has failed in its communication with the main terminal, the timing of the transmission of the telegraphic message is shifted from that of another sub-terminal.
