PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a digital broadcast reception system wherein it is not required to draw a cable indoors from the outdoors and even a personal computer or the like without a tuner circuit can receive a broadcast program. SOLUTION: A tuner 6 of an outdoor apparatus 1 receives a broadcast signal distributed from a radio wave tower and a broadcast satellite by way of a terrestrial broadcast antenna 31 and a satellite broadcast antenna 32, and provides an output to a signal demodulation circuit 7. The signal demodulation circuit 7 demodulates the signal and outputs the demodulated signal as an MPEG-TS to a first wireless interface 8. The first wireless interface 8 properly conforms the MPEG-TS to the standard IEEE802.11x and wirelessly transmits the resulting MPEG-TS. A second wireless interface 11 of an indoor apparatus 2 receives the MPEG-TS transmitted from the first wireless interface 8 and provides an output of the received MPEG-TS to a signal demodulation circuit 12. The signal decoding circuit 12 outputs a video signal and an audio signal obtained by decoding the MPEG-TS to a monitor apparatus. COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
