PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an electric crimping machine, safe to use, enabling an operator to crimp a terminal or a sleeve, which would need a large pushing pressure to crimp, with a single hand in a simple operation in a short time atop a pole. SOLUTION: The electric crimping machine comprises a cylindrical cover body fitted to a tip part of a case body so as to protrude from it which can be carried with a hand, a pair of crimping pieces pivotally supported by a pivotally supporting pin so as to crimp a crimping tool such as a crimping terminal and a sleeve at the tip part of the cover body and biased so as to be open all the time, a pair of levers turning inside the cover body turning the pair of crimping pieces in a crimped and open state and inside the case, a turning body, a pair of spiral shafts fitted in free turning at a site opposed to the turning body, a pair of pressing pieces pressing the pair of levers screwed to a site opposite to the pair of spiral shafts, and a drive device using a motor for rotating and driving the pair of spiral shafts in the same direction.
