PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical disk device highly convenient when an optical disk is loaded and when the optical disk device is attached to a portable electronic device. SOLUTION: This optical disk device 30 is provided with an optical disk body 31 and a disk cover 32. A through-hole 18a is disposed in a frame 18, and a pickup module 6 is inserted into the through-hole 18a. The frame 18 is provided with a raised part 18c raised from a surface 18b from a backside to the surface 18b. The pickup module 6 is inserted into the through-hole 18a from the backside. However, the raised part 18c covers the end of the pickup module 6, and is disposed in the outside of a largest disk diameter in which a disk is loaded. 37 is a solenoid, 38 is a release lever, and a disk cover 32 is opened/closed by their operations.
