PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an alarm capable of appropriately determining a gas abnormal state, a state having the risk of the previous stage of fire, and a fire state when the fire state is detected. SOLUTION: The alarm comprises a fire environment state detection means, a determination means, and an alarm means. The determination means determines, as a fire origin recognition requiring state Y, that the fire sensor output related value (a) is not less than fire sensor origin recognition requirement determination thresholds A1, A2 and A3 and not more than a fire sensor fire-determination threshold A4 and the gas sensor output related value (b) is not less than gas sensor origin recognition requirement determination thresholds B1, B2 and B3. The determination means determines, as a fire state Z, that the fire sensor output related value (a) is not less than the fire sensor fire-determination threshold A4. When the determination is not performed as the fire origin recognition requiring state Y and the fire state Z, the determination means determines, as the gas abnormal state X, the gas sensor output related value (b) is not less than a gas abnormality determination threshold B'.
