PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ignition device capable of preventing occurrence of an accidental fire especially even in the case of storing ignition energy for two ignition plugs in one coil. SOLUTION: An ignition control device for an engine, which is provided with two plugs 14 and 15 in a combustion chamber 5 to carry out two-point ignition by using these two ignition plugs 14 and 15, is provided with a battery voltage detecting means 37 for detecting battery voltage, a determining means 31 for determining whether the battery voltage is lowered to the predetermined threshold value or less or not, and an ignition switching means 31 for switching ignition to one-point ignition using the only one ignition plug when a determination that the battery voltage is lowered to the predetermined threshold value or less is obtained as a result.
