PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an internal gear pump prevented from the generation of cavitation by sufficiently supplying fluid into a cell structured of an inner rotor and an outer rotor during high-speed rotation thereof. SOLUTION: The internal gear pump is provided with a communication flow passage 6 between a suction port 2 or a suction opening 2a of a housing A having a first seal land 4a and a bearing hole 5 on a side, in which volume of the cell S formed by the inner rotor 8 and the outer rotor 9 is gradually increased between the suction port 2 and a discharge port 3. The fluid can be supplied into the cell S from a plurality of feeding through passages 8d radially formed between a boss hole and a bottom part of the inner rotor 8 through a driving shaft 10 pivotally supported by the bearing hole 5. The feeding through passage 8 positioned on a discharge port 3 side is shut off by shut-off parts 7 formed in the bearing hole 5 at five positions. COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
