PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a water storage system by which a large amount of service water can be stockpiled stably by effectively preventing damage to a flexible storage tank arranged in the water. SOLUTION: A protection space 69 is formed in the water 7 by a net member 67 fitted to a moored float 49. The flexible storage tank 1 storing the service water 3 is arranged in the protection space to stockpile the service water 3. Since the flexible storage tank 1 is surrounded by the net member 67, deformation of the flexible storage tank 1 caused by waves and tides generated inside a stockpile water area 5 is limited to the inside of the protection space, and the flexible storage tank 1 is effectively prevented from being damaged by the contact of rocks and rock reefs existing around the stockpile water area 5. The net member 67 also prevents a driftwood, etc., from coming into contact with the flexible storage tank 1, and the damage of the flexible storage tank 1 is surely prevented.
