PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a roll conveying apparatus, loading a pallet with a plurality of cylindrical bodies without gap and a cargo handling vehicle at a low cost. SOLUTION: This roll conveying apparatus 4 includes: a cargo handling vehicle; a size input means 5 for inputting the diameter of the cylindrical body; a turntable 6 for rotating the pallet around the vertical axis aligned with the center of the top face of the pallet; a push-in device 7 fitted to the top face of an under carriage of the cargo handling vehicle; and a control means 8 for controlling the respective operations of the cargo handling vehicle, the turntable 6 and the push-in device 7. In this roll conveying apparatus 4, it is not necessary to load the pallet with a plurality of cylindrical bodies by handwork and install a large-scale cargo handling apparatus.
