<p>[PROBLEMS] To develop: a lowly water-repellent coating film which is easy to handle and has improved antifouling properties; and a process for producing the coating film. [MEANS FOR SOLVING PROBLEMS] The coating film is characterized by being obtained by treating a coating film formed from a methylsilazane polymer or methylsilazane oligomer with a water/water-soluble oxidizing agent, preferably a water/hydrogen peroxide treating agent, an ozonized water, or a water/alkali metal chlorate oxidizing agent. The water/hydrogen peroxide treating agent preferably contains a surfactant and a water-soluble organic solvent so as to have improved penetrativity. It can contain an acid/alkali for regulating the hydrogen ion concentration. A preferred range of the concentration of hydrogen peroxide is 1.0-10.0 wt.%.</p> |
