<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mobile terminal capable of realizing extension of a battery lifetime by decreasing a current in a standby state. <P>SOLUTION: The mobile terminal is configured to include: an antenna 1; an antenna duplexer 2; a reception section 3; a transmission section 4; a communication control section 5; and an input output section 6. The communication control section 5 and the reception section 3 measure the electric field strength of peripheral channels in the standby state and the frequency of the measurement is modified in response to the measured value of the electric field strength of the respective peripheral channels. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
